Immigration: There They Go Again!

Marches and demonstrations for Amnesty for illegal immigrants once again on our streets and in our faces. Why doesn't the U.S. and other western countries just throw open their borders and let anyone in that wants to take advantage of our hard earned prosperity? After all we are part of a global community are we not? What is the purpose of our immigration laws anyway? They are just impediments to the poor and uneducated. Why does a civilized country have laws in the first place? Criminals families are impoverished any time their bread winners are thrown in jail. The inhumanity of it all! Enforcing the law is a travesty, harming criminal society, depriving children and spouses of their loved ones. The poor illegal immigrants are deprived of their livelihoods, medical services, and freedoms. What right does U.S. citizens have to demand enforcement of laws? What do they have to lose? They have TVs, cars, medical insurance, public education, security, freedoms; so why do they feel that they are being threatened by immigration laws not being enforced? Selective anarchy? What do we have to fear from Anarchy? Breakdown of society and our respect of the Law? Naw, illegal immigration is just a harmless phenomenon. Nothing to worry about. The U.S. has unlimited space, resources, money; and Americans are a generous people; willing to share their bounty.
Our streets are open for dissent by any criminal who wants their "rights" to be aired. Drug dealers revolt! No more drug raids and arrests. Prostitutes have a right to walk the streets and have red-light districts. Banks have too much money so need to be relieved of their cash from time to time. Who needs Congress--all they do is make up laws that no one wants to obey. Get rid of them and save a lot of money--our money. Anyone out there who doesn't get the drift?
