Those Al Qaeda Bases

Al Qaeda will establish bases from which to organize and source attacks against the United States. They will launch intercontinental missiles, B52s, battleships, weapons of mass destruction, troop carriers and the like. They will train and equip many thousands of troops from these bases and these bases will be a great threat to the U.S. So says the Bush administration and its supporters and some Presidential wannabe's.
The only successes Al Qaeda has had is in using suicide bombers and airplane hijackers; who by the way were successful only because airplane cockpits were not lockable. Al Qaeda has had great success in inspiring fear by using the "terrorism" ploy. A bombing here, a video there and the West buys tape and plastic sheeting and looks under the bed. How many millions, or billions, of dollars have been spent for each Al Qaeda operative caught or killed? Are we getting our money's worth? The Politicians are playing the theme for all its worth, making hay while the sun shines so to speak. The military complex is really doing well, the Elite are getting great tax breaks, and everyone is happy. But wait till reality sets in, when the bill finally arrives. What then? Then maybe someone may ask, "what about those Al Qaeda bases?" "Are they real, are they really a threat?"
