Boy--Are We In Trouble

Boy, are we in trouble--meaning we, the citizens of the United States of America. Looks like Giuliani on the one hand, and Hillary on the other hand are ahead in the race for the nomination of candidacy for President. Either way we lose--both are more or less puppets of Special Interests; who, by the way, do not have our interests at heart. The Chinese will win big, illegal aliens will get amnesty, corporations will get special treatment, Iraq will become either a millstone around our necks or become another Vietnam, energy will still be ignored, and our Homeland Security will remain a joke.
Politicians play politics and do not act as representatives as they are supposed to. If the Democrats gain complete power, the Presidency and Congress, this country will be in big trouble. On the other hand the Republicans are no better as we can see from nearly 8 years of their incompetence, greed, ideology, and partisanship. This country has some real problems to solve in the near future; out of control capitalism, depleting energy (oil), huge deficits and trade inbalances, environmental issues, a disappearing manufacturing base, and a disappearing American society, just to name a few issues. We have no "problem solvers" running for President at the moment--just politicians.
